OUR STORY

DUXSON DONALDSON has operated since 2004, growing from a small workshop into one of New Zealand’s leading specialists in felling heads, grapples, attachments, and hydraulic systems. Founded and built from the ground up by Jason, the company now has a skilled team of 10, including Jo, who manages office and administrative operations.

With extensive field service experience and long‑standing customer feedback, we have developed a New Zealand‑designed and manufactured product line featuring bunching grapples, logging grapples, and felling heads - engineered for strength, reliability, and real world forestry performance – DUXSON, serious forestry attachments.

Through Donaldson Mechanical Ltd, we also complete fit‑ups of new and used equipment, along with servicing, repairs, and maintenance of harvesters and a wide range
of hydraulic machinery. Our focus is delivering high‑quality products supported by dependable, professional service.

All of our products are built entirely from high tensile steel, precisely machined and utilize induction hardened pins and bushes to ensure unsurpassed quality and longevity of life.

NZ MADE

Designed and manufactured in New Zealand, in workshop and in-field servicing and fit-ups can be performed quickly with all spare parts available ex stock for same day dispatch.

Exceptional Service

All fit-ups are custom designed to suit each customer’s individual machines, areas of operation, logging needs and operator’s preferences. We are present on-site at each product delivery to make any minor speed or operational adjustments to suit the customer and/or operator ensuring smooth on-site operations.
